Adobe Media Encoder/Premiere using only CPU

I have noticed for the past couple days that all my adobe apps are using 100% CPU for exporting and almost none of m dedicated Nvidea 1660ti. I have it set to use Nvidea card under programs in Nvidea display setting. I have  the playback engine set to CUDA and hardware acceleration on as well. There's nothing more I can think of. These exports are GPU intensive as well which is why I am confused and upset because my renders are taking about an hour.

Hi there,

We appreciate you writing in. The settings you've made sound correct and should use your GPU ideally for export. We'll check what could be making your CPU being used instead of GPU.

  • Is it a .prproj/.aep file that you're trying to export?
  • Is your Nvidia GPU driver updated to the latest version as available on the Nvidia's website?
  • Have you tested the issue with more than one media or project?

Let us know. We're here to help.

Thanks,

Shivangi
