Copy from AI to XD causes problems

Hey guys – weird issue here.  Copying typograpy with gradients etc worked totaly fine in previous versions… Result was a path with the same gradient fill as in AI.
In the current version there seem to be a problem with handling those. XD makes a gradient object (plane) with a mask on top. Gradients also looking wrong. Also recognized that XD creates additional boxes around my created icons…

Do I miss out on anything here?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. While opening an Illustrator file in XD, not all elements are supported with complete fidelity. For a list of supported and unsupported elements, see Supported elements when you open Illustrator files in XD

Let us know if this helps or if you need any further assistance.
