How do I edit an existing text in a jpeg?
Hi Samantha26024374q05c,
Thank you for reaching out. For editing text in a jpeg. I would recommend using Photoshop. You may start here- https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/how-can-i-edit-the-text-in-a-jpg-and-png-file-and-change-a-picture/td-p/9003713.
I hope this makes sense. Please update this discussion in case you need further assistance.
Thanks,
Atul_Saini
You cannot edit text in a JPEG, as the JPEG format is a flat image that has no editable text layer. You can try open it in Photoshop as @Atul_Saini said, then create a text layer replicating the existing text, then fill the existing text area to erase it (Photoshop Content-aware fill is brilliant for this so I'd use that, if the original artwork is suitable)
