Gradient markers are not aligning with the path/Shape in XD 33 version.

Hello people, I have been using XD for almost 2 years now and there is a very annoying bug that has occurred on my software for the past 2 days.

 

For some reason, I could not use the gradient direction (the drag indicator for you to adjust the color shades) and this applies for both radial and linear gradient settings.

 

I have tried everything, reinstalling XD, reinstalling Adobe CC, etc. and nothing seems to help (except for formatting my PC). It just recurred as usual.

 

Can anyone please help me on this issue?

 

Screenshot (1542) is taken when I tried to select Gradient, and Screenshot (1543) was what happened after that. The gradient indicator should be in the Path itself isn't it? 😞

And to be more precise, I cannot drag the indicator properly, it's like ran off from the path itself and the direction of the color shades do not make sense anymore

Hey Harishka. Any update on this? This bug makes your software virtually UNUSABLE while working with gradients. It's 2021 already. Please, stop adding features and fix your bugs asap.

Hey Harshika. the same happends to me. I see the first report is from September and still not fixed.

Can you please tell me the prority to fix this bug? Just to decide if I continue with XD or move on to other software like sketch.

Could you please specify what does it mean 'future releases'? This month, year? If bug fixing it not a priority for your dev team, then I'm moving to figma this year nad I hope other people do the same.

We're so sorry for the delay. I did check the bug and I can assure you that the team has already identified the root cause of the bug and they are planning to deploy a fix. Having said that, I am afraid, I don't have an exact version in which the fix would be deployed so I am keeping a track of this bug and will update this discussion as soon as I hear from the team.
