Frequent Low Memory Warnings in After Effects 23.1

I have the latest iMac27 and I still get the low memory messages - and I am on 23.1!

here are my specs:

macOS Monterey Version 12.6.1

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020)
Processor 3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9
Memory 128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Thank you for reporting this issue, sorry this is still occurring for you in 23.1. I've created a new thread specifically for After Effects 23.1 to differentiate this from the previous 23.0 issue.

Do either of you have any third-party plug-ins or panels installed?

I have many plugins/scripts installed - I am not sure anyone uses AE without 3rd party scripts 🙂 unfortunately I don't have the time to test AE while enabling scripts 1 by 1... but I can tell you that I don't have any new scripts since I updated from 22.6 and I never had this problem there...

have you tried Purging the memory from edit -> Purge , are you still getting the same message ?

With great expectation I installed the AE 23.2.0 update today. The performance is still so bad that it is not possible to work with the program. Attached is a video after a reboot and without any other Adobe products open and memory allocated.
All this can not be. Countless users are migrating from Premiere Pro to DaVinci Resolve, will this also happen with AE?
I urgently need help to work smoothly in AE again, as in version 22.
