Adobe Animate not Responding

We have a 725kb file that is in html5/canvas and Adobe animate is saying that is not responding and I wait 10 minutes and the file finally publishes. Is there a reason why it is taking so long? I am on version 20.5.1 most of the files don't have this long of a wait time.

i'm sure there is but it's not possible to say with the info supplied.  you could do some trial and error editing test flas to isolate what's taking the most processing time though i'm not sure what difference that will make.
