audition cc and izotope RX 8 vs Rx 9 help and feebacks

Hi

A friend of mine could sell me izotope RX 8 at a very cheap price

and i have found a discount for izotope rx 9

I will use spectracl denoiser , declick , decracle and dehum

does Izotope improve these plugins from version 8 to version 9 or 10?

Since in some ways this is a competing product, then strictly speaking, then anything I say has to be slightly prejudiced... 😉 But since I have all of the versions of RX going back forever I can tell you that whilst RX is very good for making surgical alterations to files (fixing small defects), the results from some of the effects you are describing aren't really that much different from what you could achieve using Audition. Where RX scores heavily is that its spectral editing in general is excellent.

 

But the answer to your actual question is no - those effects you mentioned haven't altered in any significant way for a while. iZotope have been concentrating on adding new features, and whether they are of any use to you I couldn't tell.

to remove a range of frequencies ,is the FFT filter the best bet ins't it?

For example i would like to move the record player engine hum 

ps. for 80€ i could buy rx 8 from my friend
