The first issue I immediately became aware of with this latest update to Bridge is that the settings for the Photo Downloader do not "stick."
Each time I download a set of images I have to go through all the checkboxes ticking and unticking as required. Previously these settings were always remembered.
Has anybody else noticed this or am I experiencing a personal glitch?
This is one of many logged bugs for Bridge. No idea when a fix will be posted.

Reading through this thread, my issue is that when I import my file numbering is all over the map and not sequential at all. At first I thought it was because of the various days of images on the card, as I file import by YYYYMMDD then filename, then numbering. When I try it to import just as a shoot name, the same no sequential numbering happens. Anyone else having this issue? I reached out to Adobe on here and they said it's a known glitch. No sense of urgency from these guys at all, it's only just the Import feature in order to use Adobe Photoshop and most of the other products. I asked them for a timeline and they didn't answer with a date, just evaded the question.

As of August 13th, this worked for me...
It is now April 2020 and a slight change is necessary - create the folder as described by above, but name it "Bridge CC 2019" (with the spaces and no quotes) That will work for Bridge CC 2020 v 10.0.4.157 in Windows 10. After creating the folder, open Bridge Photo Downloader change the settings download a photo, then shut down Bridge. Next time you use Photo Downloader it should show the settings you previously set. You can check that folder and the APDPreferences.xml file is created in the empty Bridge CC 2019 folder you made earlier.
