I'm browsing the forum on my Windows 10 computer using Firefox. I blurred the content. Numerical dates are in the European format DD/MM/YYYY.

Today, I noticed that dates on the posts are shown differently depending on the person(?) that posted and the post (the thread here is this one: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-contributors-discussions/blocked-account/td-p/14285360😞

If you now think it's me:

Is it in the context of the time of the day, the post has been made?

Low importance, but high interest! I looked on the current SFTW thread because I know where most of the regulars live. Every one has Military date format as it's known in the US (or European date format as it's known to the rest of the world.) There was no deviation.

@jane-e ,

That does not disturb me, as I live in Europe, I expect dates localized fo my region. I can read the American notation, however, it's not that easygoing. But I did not expect two different notations.

Yours is nicely written in the European format: DD/MM/YYYY 😀

It looks like it's a matter of the timing of the posting and the timing of when it get checked from the reader.

Yes, my date is in the European format and I live in the USA. Everyone in the thread I mentioned has the European format, but several live in the USA.

Weird. On my iPad the date format is consistently Mon DD, year.  Jan 12, 2024.   Irrespective of the location of the poster.

The settings on your computer are decisive. My settings are OK. I just get two different views based on some obscure parameter. It simply looks like Khoros is calling different functions or the same function with different parameters based on something.
