I am trying to edit my layer timing it keeps snapping back to full length of my file? if i make the file length shorter and place the file it snaps to that length however when i increase the file length the added asset does not follow suit? so i am unable to bring assets into the file and different times as per normal. I have re started and tried on a new file as well?

I have a similar issue. I can't change the timing of my assets, it always snaps back to the timing I set before (last week). I refreshed the browser, new file, nothing changed.

Screenhsot of this issue. I want to increase the length to the end of the scene. After lengthen, it flips back.

In my case, this issue appears with assets that are linked to my library, I created in PS before.

It doesn't matter which browser I use (chrome, firefox, safari) – nothing change.

This workaround solved my problem:

I opened a new fresh document in Adobe Express (don’t duplicate the page) and then I copied my assets from PS per copy and paste. After this I could change my timings as usual. But if I use an asset from my library again, the same problem will appear.

Once again I cannot reduce/change the timing of a layer - it just fills the whole scene.

Unable to adjust layer timing on Linked Assets used in video. I've tried on both mobile and browser but when I adjust the length of my Linked Assets the video length snaps back to the original length

I'm having the same issue but I was able to adjust the timing of grouped assets. Sort of a workaround. But this sounds like a bug and I'm hoping it gets resolved soon!

Hi,

We are aware of an issue with layer timing adjustments reverting, specifically for library/linked assets. We are actively working on a fix.

If you are seeing this for regular assets as well (i.e., those not from a library/brand and not linked PSD/AI files), please let us know.

Thanks

Abhi G

@gabrielsotoe have you already tried to use assets that are not linked to the library?

Workaround: duplicate library asset, paste on top in the same place and group, then it'll allow to adjust layer lenght on timeline. Make sure to add animations etc to the group and not the individual asset. Bit annoying but works for now.
