Unable to change the aspect ratio after generating an image.

I generated an image with an reference style of an image. And unable to change the aspect ratio.

It switches back to what the first one was.

Hi. After every first use I cannot change the format option and it immediately resets itsef to horizontal.

@Zain Ahamed , changing the image's aspect ratio is not currently supported in the sense that it will expand or crop the generated image. The team is exploring extending an image:

@Zain Ahamed Does this happen in other browsers? Can you share step-by-step in a video how you got to this page? As in, start on Adobe Firefly > Text to image > etc.

For quite a while the aspect ratio pulldown menu would get stuck on any given size. It would not let me change from one to another.

Two options you can try:

1. Hard reset your browser: Cmd/Ctrl+Sh+R.
2. Try another browser.

Let us know if either options help you.

Hi,

since today i have problems with the UI.

After a few times I can not change any settings from the dropdown menues.
I can click on a different setting (e.g. Widescreen) but it doesn´t get selected.

Same with the reference pictures. 2-3 times it works, than it is ignored.

I have to restart Firefly and reenter all promots and settings.

Kind of time consuming 🙂

I had finished typing up this prompt as A test of Firefly: Wolf And Avian As 1 Creature, Fusion, Creature Resting On A Tree Stump In A Small Area Surrounded By A Forest. Then, I wanted to change the Composition to A Wide Angle. I clicked Wide Angle, and it stayed, but only for about 1 second and 57 milliseconds, before changing back to None. Bewildered, I tried changing Colour And Tone to Black And White, and the same happened. Same as Lighting. i then tried to change Aspect Ratio, thinking that Wide Angle needed A bigger Aspect Ratio to work, but, low-and-behold, the Aspect Ratio I selected changed back to (1:1), too! I had Art, Ink, Cartoon, Sketch, Fantasy as the modifiers, if that's something that'd affect it (I don't expect it to, but it never hurts to mention.). Version is Firefly Image 2. Platform is Laptop with the Windows 10 Operating System.

In Firefly Image 2 running on windows 11 pro, it seems like after a screen page is open for a while it won't switch the aspect ratio.  It just snaps back to whatever it's been on like widescreen, or portrait.  If I try to duplicate the tab it has the same problem.  If I start over with a new tab it is fine for a while but later it will get stuck on whatever aspect ratio it has been on.  It was fine before but for a few days it has been doing this.  It is valuable to me to switch back and forth to see how an idea and settings will look in different aspect ratios.

@CMass thanks for your reply. Unable to share a recording but let me put it in words.
Opened Adobe Firefly > Text to Image > Add a Text "man with a surfboard facing the beach" (Portrait layout) > It generates > Added a reference image > Generate > Then Cannot change Layout.

I also couldn't use the Effects right below Layout options.

For whatever reason, the aspect ratio for me is stuck to 4:3 when I would like to switch to other options. I do not know why this is happening and I have tried reloading the page, trying other things, but it all continues to swtich back to 4:3. Thank you!
