P: Denoise on DNG from Ricoh GR-III x is missing Luminance Denoise-

Same trouble with my GR IIIX RAW files, still waitting for a solution...

That is a shame. I would have thought this was an easy one to fix but apparently not. 

Just updated to LrC 12.4, unfortunately the Denoise issue with GR IIIx DNG is still not solved.

I can also confirm that I see this same issue with my Ricoh GRIII DNG files. As others have also said Denoise works great on my Sony A7iv raw files

I can add that I have the same issue with the dng files from the Ricoh GR III.

Works great with other cameras I own from Sony and Fujifilm but denoise does not happen on the raw files from the Ricoh.

Agreed.  Denoise works wonders with Canon R5.  With my GRIIIx, the effect is barely noticable.

@mrouleau Of course you are absolutely right with your claim!

So far thedigitaldog is the only one I met who claims that everything is fine with AI Denoise treating Ricoh GRIII files.

The following examples clearly show what you, I and many others talk about. These were exported from DNG to JPG from Lightroom:

GRIII, ISO 12800, RAW untreated

This clearly shows that AI Denoise works perfectly with the A7RIII files (and no additional manual adjustements are needed), while it miserably fails with Ricoh GRIII files. A growing number of photographers confirms this.

This concludes this discussion for me, because the case is clear!

@TheDigitalDog Whatever.  The merged thread shows I'm not the only one seeing this.  If you can't or won't admit that Denoise AI isn't working as expected on the Ricoh GRIIIx, I don't know what to say.

The AI is really not working properly on the Ricoh GRIII cameras. If the RAW from member mrouleau did not reveal it to you then please download and try my raw file from the GRIII. It's obvious that AI Denoise is NOT working properly on these cameras. I already posted examples which prove it above...
