Liquify crashes every time

I have been using this laptop and liquify for a long time and never experienced any issues. Now photoshop instantly crashes after liquify. I really need it for work, and I don't know any kind of replacement for liquify. What could be the issue? 

I rolled photoshop back to a few different versions but it doesn't make a difference. 

I'm using a lenovo legion 5 pro, with AMD Ryzen 7, 32 gb ram.

I just did, but it didn't help unfortunately..
