Phoitoshop crashes with recent updates

I am unable to run the last three versions of PhotoShop. I have to move back to 25.3.1 in order for it to work at all.

When I try an open the latest version 25.4, 25.5, or 25.5.1 I get the splash screen and then the spalsh goes away and then it crashes. I have tried every single suggestion and nothing works.

I checked the logs and the end has these lines.

There may be some conflict or corruption between the different versions of Photoshop. I suggest you consider using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove versions of the application and do a clean reinstall. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you had your graphics card checked?

I have 64GB of Ram. I don't know what you mean by "Have you had your graphics card checked". It is a newish computer with an i9, 64Gb ram, 4TB nvme ssd with more than 3TB free and a 2070 Super. All the games and other apps I play run fine.

PhotoShop 25.3.1 runs fine as well. But not 25.4, 25.5, or 25.5.1.

Yes. I had reset the prefrences before I posted asking for help.

I tried things for over 2 weeks before posting. I did a removal and clean install of video drivers.reset prefrences. I have used the Adobe Cleaner tool twice now. Once just cleaning out PhotoShop and once cleaning all Adobe products on my machine.

I was hoping someone from Adobe could actually understand what the log file entries mean when it crashes. Is there someplace else to email support more directly?

YES! I cannot get PSD to load for more than 15 seconds, it keeps saying I have trial version and need to use Adobe Express. I have had Creative Cloud for 20 years!  GRRRR I have work to do!

To be clear I do not have two video cards. The Intel is just the onboard graphics on my processor. I cannot be the only person with onboard graphics.

That did not work. I tried to follow the screens you pointed me to but it looks like something has changed in the Nvidia Control Panel. I could change many settings but the "select the preferred graphics processor" dropdown did not show. Instead it says "Specify the settings found on this computer" I have attached a screenshot below.

Just to further update on this problem. It still exsists in the latest 25.6. I cannot run any version newer than 25.3.1 or the app will not launch.

Support has been not been helpful and none of the suggestion here have worked. I guess I will be forced to cancel my subscription since I can no longer run photoshop with the latest features.

This is now solved. It turned out to be a ultiplity I use to manage my 49" wide screen monitor called Virtual Display Manager.

Once I found the conflict I was able to set photoshop to be excluded and everything is working.
