CFFTP to Unix/Linux and Leap Day

CFFTP from one Red Hat AS 4 server to another Red Hat AS 4 server is not retrieving files with modification dates of February 29 2008. The files simply don't show up in the listing. They do show up in every other FTP and SFTP program I've tried, including command-line FTP from the system trying to CFFTP and from other systems on the network. It appears to only be affecting CFFTP TO a unix/linux system.

I tried to apply Hotfix 2 for CF 8, and it blew up the server with a JSON method call. So I yanked it.

This is a rather serious problem and is affecting a production box. CF 8 Enterprise, no hotfixes, both RHAS4 systems. Any insight?

I just read a posting in a CF-Talk thread on the House of Forum dealing
this this. It pointed to a problem that the Apache FTP module that
ColdFusion uses. Hopefully the post will mean more to those of you who
use this.

I'm running into this today, but it's on a windows 2003 server with FileZilla FTP server. There were files in the directory, all with today's date (2/29/2008), and if i logged in manually at the command prompt, I could see and download the files. But with CF8 developer edition, code that has worked for two years suddenly gave us an empty query when doing CFFTP action="ListDir"... even though the files are there. now this could be FileZilla or it could be CF8, i don't know... but I only know that NOTHING changed at our end and ListDir is broken today. I changed the date on the CF8 machine to the 28th, no joy there. I didn't get a chance to try changing the dates on the files in the FTP directory, but that will be my first test when I get some time next week.

Will be interested to see how this plays out.
