Too many clicks to get to app updates

Older versions of the Creative Cloud desktop app made it easier to see apps that needed updating. Now it seems I have to click on "Apps", then "Manage Updates" in the right sidebar. I swear it used to be a single click in a prominent, obvious place.

(Sidenote: In general, I feel lost finding basic maintenance functions amid the mess of marketing noise in the desktop app. What happened to just letting me DO MY WORK?)

do you have notifications set to inform you when an update is available (assuming you don't want to automatically update).

I do, but that doesn't help me look at them later if I've cleared notifications.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
