Edit once and update everywhere with Linked Assets

Graphics in Creative Cloud Libraries can now be linked so that when they’re changed, you and your team members have the option of updating them across any Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign projects where they’re used.

Is this functionality actually working? I've gone through the tutorials, I've looked at the help sections, I've done a extensive web search, but I still can not seem to figure out how to link a file in the CC library for this functionality to work?! Anyone? Anyone...?
