Hi, I am really hoping someone can help me.

I have been doing design work for a few clients the past few days, and syncing to my CC Folder on my apple laptop. I just formatted my computer and downloaded the software to get going again, and went to my Creative Cloud Files folder and half of all my clients work that I recently worked on has not appeared.

What do you think happened here and how can I resolve this?

Do you think its because they didn't sync?

I need these files ASAP as they are active jobs and brands that can't be recreated.

Is there somewhere I can go to find them?

I haven't made back ups of them as I was under the impression that this CC software is on the ball but it seems the fils are not there.

Please help!

Hi Chase,

Sorry to hear you didn't find them online or in the archive. If they had successfully synced they would be there. Unfortunately if you've formatted the computer and don't have any other backups I can't think of any other way of retrieving them . It's hard to say what happened before you formatted, normally if sync is on and unable to sync files it will give some kind of error. Maybe sync got turned off at some point unknowingly. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Hi Chase,

Any files which were synced previously should be available online here: https://assets.adobe.com/files

It might also be worth checking the online recycle bin (archive) too: Adobe Creative Cloud

You'll have to sign in through the browser with your Adobe ID but can download files directly from there too.

For the syncing, I'd just confirm that sync is turned on in the Creative Cloud app preferences here:

Hope that helps,

- Dave

Hi David, thank you for getting back to me.
I have tried to have a look at both links and suggestions, but there is nothing there. I clearly didn't sync my latest files by the looks of things. I really can't understand why it didn't do so as I worked directly off these files from the cloud and saved them and my syncing setting were on.

are there any other possible ways of retrieving this...? I really need these files.
