I'm trying to upgrade to PS 2014 but CC has been stuck on sync for the last hour. I have already done Bridge and Lightroom 5 without problems.

Hi Pumpkin16,
What do you mean by 'stuck on sync' (maybe a screenshot would be clearer)? Can you see the list of available applications in the 'Apps' tab with the 'Install' button for PS 2014?
