Hi guys,

We upgraded to Indesign 2021 and now we have Adobe Creative Cloud saying it is damaged and needs to repair. We then repair Adobe Creative Cloud, but after a reboot it comes up again. It won't allow me to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud because there are programs already on the computer, and trying to install Adobe Creative Cloud installs but it is very fast so I assume it isn't actually installing, rather that it sees it is already installed and then declares the install has completed.

Please see error message attached.

Hi Peru Bob,

We uninstalled Creative Cloud using the uninstall tool provided and powered off the machine and back on, then installed Creative Cloud again. Powered off the machine and back on and the error has returned. We then uninstalled all Adobe products using the uninstall tool provided, then powered off the machine and back on, then installed Creative Cloud again. Powered off the machine and back on and the error message returned.

At this stage we think that either (1) something in the uninstall isn't being removed, or (2) the Windows Defender is doing something to the Adobe Creative Cloud at startup of the machine. The end user noted after all this that Windows Defender seems to show an exclaimation mark that they believe wasn't there before the issue started, but disappears a few minutes after startup.
