Can't login to Creative Cloud

This morning I was prompted for my username and password to log into the creative cloud app. I am logged into the community forums using the same credentials used by the creative cloud app so my username and password is correct, yet I can't login via the Creative Cloud App. The Creative Cloud app say "unable to authenticate your Adobe ID" when using my correct username and password.

check your account to verify your subscription is what you expect and to verify your adobe id (used in the next step), https://accounts.adobe.com/

if your account shows

a. your subscription is active,

1.  sign out and then back in to your cc desktop application using the same adobe id above to verify your subscription:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

2.  if that fails, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/stop-creative-cloud-trial-mode-after-purchase.html

There must have been some sort of issue on Adobe's side of the house. Today without any intervention on my part, I opened creative cloud and I am logged in.

Hello I am having this same issue. I've been logged in and able to access creative cloud fine since June of this year but after restarting my computer I can not login to creative cloud, even though I am logged in with the same credentials right now to access this forum. I tried quitting and then re-opening cc but now I just see a spinning circle and nothing loads on the screen. Very frustrated. Screen Shot 2018-12-03 at 12.16.34 AM.png
