I am trying to install premiere pro after having to uninstall it, however creative cloud thinks I still have it on my PC so it wont show an install button

I also cannot use the update link it gives because the program isnt really installed.

I have reinstalled creative cloud and signed out and back in however still no way for me to download premier pro.

If it was on the PC before, how is it not there now? (If you can tell us how it came to this, we might be able to help you undo the damage)

in addition to the question of how you "uninstalled" premiere, how did you reinstall the cc desktop app?

you shouldn't be able to property reinstall it unless you uninstalled it first.  and you shouldn't be able  to uninstall your cc desktop app unless the cc desktop app detects all the cc programs are uninstalled first and according to you, that didn't happen.

so, there are some basic problems somewhere.  you'll probably need a complete reinstall, but you can explain the initial issue (that premiere uninstall) or take a long shot and:

reset the cc app:

to reset the cc desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, try to repair

Long story short , Premiere Pro started using all of my system memory for no apparent reason and kept crashing so I uninstalled it thinking it wold help to reinstall.

Then Creative Cloud decided to start opening to a blank white screen, so I figured I needed to uninstall that also.

And now that is where I am, I have CC back however it says PPRO is still on my system and gives me an option to update, but not install.   When I tell CC to unionstall it I get an error, and when I try to update I also get an error.

This is where im stuck at.
