Photoshop CS2 - LOCKED, dead program

Hi Guys, I have been out of the business for a while and now back.

I need the CS2 which I paid $750.00 for and now own, to re-install, activate, and work!

If I purchased an old car in 2001 for $750.00 and kept it running, the original owner or "salesman"

cannot by law stop it from running or prevent me from using it because he is demanding I buy another different car, under any circumstances.  It's the law!

So how is it that Adobe can just say, "Oh CS2, too bad!  We need more money so now you'll have to pay us

again and pay us every month!"  That's outrageous and goes against everything I was taught as a child!

I once had a link to a list of activation codes and was given a different code than what appears on my original CD box.

Now it seems even THAT page has been taken down.  Is Adobe in receivership?  Why do they need so much money?

Based on what happens now, I will make my ultimate decision on how to look at this huge corporation called Adobe.

The CS3 and earlier activation server has been removed from service
-So even if you have a disc or saved download, CS3 and earlier are completely dead
-Adobe also no longer supplies the special non-activation versions of CS2 or CS3

Sorry, but nobody here can help, and Adobe support will also not help

There is no such thing as a forever license.  CS2 came out in 2005. The average shelf-life for software is 3-5 years.  So your expectation to keep using a 15 year relic is unreasonable because it won't run on most modern computers.  You got your money's worth and now it's time to find modern software that's compatible with modern computers.

Creative Suite is no longer legally sold by any vendor, retailer or country.  Adobe ended sales in early 2017.
