Hello,
I have recently bought a mini mac with the m1 chip. I migrated from my macbook pro. I understand that some apps won't work just yet, but the issue that I have is with the installation of Creative Cloud. I have Lightroom installed and running fine, I did have a problem with the hard drive that I was using running NTFS, but that's sorted now. Everytime I try to download photoshop Creative Cloud freezes as soon as the first screen comes up. I can't get to the Beta apps to install them. I uninstall and reinstall and the same thing happens over and over. When I click on the Photoshop icon I just get the beach ball and Photoshop refuses to load.
Any help would be great.

first, reset the cc app:
to reset the cc desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:
Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
if that fails, try to repair
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html
if that fails go ahead and uninstall/reinstall per the above link
if that fails, do a clean cc install following each applicable step:
uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

Hello my friend and thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I can't uninstall any of the apps as the CC hame screen is frozen and it won't let me click any of the buttons. It will scroll up and down and it lets me click the red X to cancel the screen, but the buttons just will not click.
Photoshop will not open.

Is there a way to install photoshop without using CC? I'm paying for something that is unusable at the moment and it's frustrating.

you can get direct download links from adobe support.
using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
click contact us (= cryptic icon in the lower right)
in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

Just got my M1 Mac Mini today. Sounds like I'm having the same issue. Creative Cloud opens but is unusable. Initially it seemed to work, but then it started updating Photoshop, and since then neither CC nor Photoshop is usable/responsive. Photoshop won't open at all. Lightroom Classic seems to be okay. Can't uninstall CC because "other apps depend on it". Can't run the Photoshop uninstall, because it tries to run from CC, which just sits there and stares back at me uselessly.
