My updates have stopped because of my OS High Sierra 13.6. Does anyone know how I can update my macbook pro to a newer OS? I have read a few articles, but I'm not sure if this can be done. I do have a SATA drive and the following graphic card(s)

AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB

Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

You need to ask in an Apple forum, or take your Mac to an Apple store

I believe High Sierra is as far as you can officially upgrade on the 2011 MacBook Pro

Apple does not support anything above High Sierra on that computer. There is unofficial support for newer OS install; search for "DOSdude1."
