I have been successful in using a white rectangle to cover up the unwanted bold line above table titles except when the table continuation variable is used for tables continued on a second page. Has anyone discovered a work-around?
Assuming you're using the default table definitions, have you tried updating the TableTitle style? or the ruling properties in the table style?I don't use the default definitions, so I've never seen a title with a bold line above. Perhaps you could post a picture.
Responder got me focused on "table title style" which actually is controlled by Paragraph Designer with Paragraph Tag being "Table Title". Here I found that the unwanted line was being called for in "frame above paragraph". This I switched to "None." and the line went away.
(It's still a mystery to me why such lines in "continued" tables couldn't be whited out.)
