When placing .svg in FrameMaker 2017 they appear bad and they print bad. Is there a setting FrameMaker that needs to be set to handle .svg. The fonts are loaded?

thank you

Perhaps your SVG is corrupted or not well-formed.

Please test a simple SVG, e.g. an SVG warning sign at ISO 7010 - Wikipedia. I can import it in FM 2017 without any trouble and without any special settings.

"bad" is pretty vague.

Rasterized? Distorted? Corrupted?

And printed to what?
Rendered to PDF?
As sent to printer? (and from PDF or directly from FM)?

And if printed directly from FM, what page description language does the printer use? (e.g. Ps, PCL, EscP)
