P: Ability to change location in Publish Services

Explorer ,
May 11, 2023 May 11, 2023

Bonjour

You can do this in a SQLite Browser.  On my Mac I use the open source "DB Browser for SQLite"

Copy the following 2 lines into Sql Browser and hit Run arrow.  LaCie SSD was old drive,  EXT SSD is new drive.  Make a copy of you Catalog before using.

UPDATE AgLibraryPublishedCollectionContent SET content = REPLACE(content,'LaCie SSD','EXT SSD'); UPDATE AgLibraryPublishedCollection SET remoteCollectionId = REPLACE(remoteCollectionId,'LaCie SSD','EXT SSD');

The formatting should look like this of the 2 lines.  This is a screen clip.  I agree this could be a built in function.

Thank you Bob for your answer.

But, as many users, I don't practice SQL... (not anymore in fact ...)

I'd suggest a more "end-user" solution.

@Nawatz

As I said, this could/should be a function provided by Adobe in LrC and has been mentioned many times but I got tired of waiting for Adobe.  I agree the average user is not going to do the SQL thing but as of now it is the only solution short of a plugin that someone may write.
