Hi I have a MacBook Pro 2012 and I’m running Catalina 10.15.7 and my Illustrator 24.2.3 keeps crashing randomly. Doesn’t really matter what I’m doing, I could be zooming in and out or just changing color and it crashes, even puts my computer to sleep.? Under my battery preferences I can see it says “App using significant energy and its Adobe Illustrator”. Is Anyone else have this problem?
My specs again are
Macbook Pro Mid 2012, 13inch
2.5GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
10GB RAM 1600 MHz DDR3
I’m running macOS Catalina 10.15.7

Hi, we're sorry you're having trouble with Adobe Illustrator. Have you verified that GPU acceleration is on? Do you have problems with only a specific file or also with other files?

Hi GPU Performance is on and it’s only happened with this one file I’m working on. Haven’t noticed it on any other file sadly because I’m done with other projects. I just started a new project.
