Hello designers

I hope somebody can help me to find out how I can move a whole object by using a specific anchorpoint as reference.

In the attachment a screenshot with more information.

Is this possible in Illustrator?

Turn on smart guides. Turn on Snap to point.

Take the selection tool (black arrow)

Grab that anchor point and move the object where you want it to be. The selection tool will snap.

Is there also an option to give a coordinate to this anchor point to move to instead of dragging?

Thanks a lot for helping!

Please tell us exactly what you want to do.

You could select that point with the direct selection tool, then read the coordinates in the transform panel, then do the math and then select the complete object and enter the necessary coordinates in Object > Transform > Move
