Recently bought illustrator cc and everything works perfect except for the image tracing. It goes through the process but right before its done I get this error message " The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [CANT] "

Please help I have no idea how to fix this.

Closing the program and reopening it does not fix it.

Does this happen on all images,  and settings? Is this the first time the Adobe suite has been installed on this computer, or may you have residual files from not using the Adobe Cleaner to uninstall? What OS & plug ins are you running. Reset your prefs. Then Window > Workspace > Reset current workspace.

Which system is it?

Can you please tell us the hardware specifications of your computer, especially the amount of RAM installed?

How large is the image you are tracing?
