Change the backgroud color?

hello there how are you friends
how to change the background color of an object?I know how to change the artboard color but when I export my object as png my background color don't change
I create a Rectangle behind my object and then color it.... but this is a silly solution
any easy and Logical way?

There is no background color in Illustrator.

So the way you do it, create a filled rectangle below your objects, is the right way.

LATEST

PNG supports transparency. If you disable transparency, it fills in with white.

If you want another color to be part of the PNG, do as @Ton_Frederiks says.
