Hi 🙂

so I have an iPad Pro and would love to work with photoshop and illustrator with the Apple pen on it.
but since photoshop and illustrator don't have all the functions on the iPad as they have on the Computer, I wanted to ask if I can connect the iPad and computer with a program or something like that, so that I can draw on the iPad and still have all the functions of photoshop and illustrator.
thank you for your help!

You can use Apple Sidecar on your Mac to make your iPad like a 2nd display. Here's a video that shows how to set it up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeAcUlFTioE&feature=emb_logo

Hi there,

In addition to the suggestions shared above, the document from iPad syncs automatically to the desktop, so you can use the desktop Ai to manage the settings that are not available in Illustrator on iPad.

You may also share this as a feature request here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/. This way, you will keep getting all the updates related to this feature & other users can also upvote, which would help us prioritize.

Not sure if your asking if you can use an external display (see other response) or your asking about function keys. You can sync your bluetooth apple keyboard to your ipad (as well as add a display) and use those quick functions keys you use on the desktop for the Ipad Pro...if that helps. Cheers!
