Hi Can anyone please help me with this question.

I did a design today on my mac using Microgramma D bold extended font. When I sent it to my windows it exchanged the font to one I dont want or like. I need to use windows as my connected Roland cutter doesnt work with OS. How can I add a font to the Windows software and why is it missing?

Please read the documentation about how to install fonts on Windows.

For Illustrator you need to install it "for all users"

There are MILLIONS of fonts. You can't assume that because one computer has a font, that any other computer will have it. You may need to buy it, or it might even not be available for Windows. You are in luck, you can buy the font family for under $100: https://www.fontshop.com/families/linotype-microgramma?gclid=Cj0KCQiApY6BBhCsARIsAOI_GjaZtv3CMJokdWc...
