Illustrator 2021 crashing every time I try to invert envelope distort

I've seen a few posts about envelope distort not working for folks. My program crashes every time I try to adjust from a postive distortion (default at +50) to negative. Literally the moment I release my mouse it crashes. I restarted my computer, reset my Illustrator preferences, etc. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS & Illustrator? Do you see this behavior with a specific document?

We have released Adobe Illustrator 2021(v25.2) today. Please update your app to the latest version & see if it helps with this issue.
