I am at my whits end........ I purchased a new macbook pro and illustrator freezes at launch I have tried to uninstall and resinstall and everything else on these forums with no solution.

Is it an M1 machine?
In that case: please search the forum for M1 threads. There are some hints to make Illustrator somewhat work. At least for some people.
