Illustrator always imports every PDF page

Hi,

sometimes I need to extract one single page from a catalog. Usually I open it in Illustrator, choose the page I want in the pop up window und export it to the desired format. But as of today the pop up window won't show up. Illustrator straight goes to import every page in the document (which is awesome, because it takes like 20-25 Minutes) and  needless to say that Illustrator works like charme with over 900 open drawing spaces.

Is it possible to get the Pop-Up back or is this the new desired workflow for PDFs from Adobe?

Yes, it happend with every PDF and that is the pop-up I was looking for.

I solved it by reinstalling Illustrator.

In case that happens again, you can reset Illustrator preferences settings instead of reinstalling.

This window should show:

If it doesn't, something is going wrong.
Does this happen with every PDF?
