Is GPU preview in 21.5 worse than ever before?

I like what they've done to Outline View, but GPU view is a mess now. Lines show up that aren't there, sections of curves are straightened, and endpoints don't finish properly. Having to flip to the MUCH slower CPU View to see what I'm actually doing is a nuisance.

Attached you can see the difference between GPU and CPU.

GPU is a Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB on a Mac Pro running Big Sur 11.1.

GPU totally depends on your graphic card, your operating system and your video driver. What makes matters worse is that the videodriver and the system are updated regularly. If all of this doesn't cooperate well with Illustrator, then the result is a mess. Video card manufacturers probably don't care a lot about Adobe Illustrator, because their share of users in that segment aren't that many, so there we are.
