Hi there. Is there a plug for this?. I know there one is for "Roland" cutters. (cut studio pro) I  have got it. Unfortuatley my Roland cutter has gone belly up. I was told there was one unvailable for "Mutoh" cutters

So I went out and purchased a Mutoh "ValueCut VC-1300". Beginging to regret it :-(.  On the - side I dont have the original CD for the Mutoh. (I think there might be a plug in file for this on it)

On the + side I have numerous versions of Illustrator both PC and Mac. Trying to avoid puchaseing expensive overly complicated softwere. Just need sometthing that creates a registration mark for optical registration for cutting accurate kiss cut cuts. (You can tell I'm a printer) thanks for your help.

So you don't want the plug-in? Just some way to make registration marks?

Make you own and put them in library, or use this script:

Thanks for replying.

Yes I do want the plug in. It's just that I can't find one that will work
with my brand of cutter. (Mutoh). *Mutoh Aus have been very unhelpful.* A
point to note different brands of cutters have different registration
marks. (for the optical eye to read for contour cutting). A Roland one
won't work on a Mutoh. Roland's have dots, Mutoh's have lines, etc...

But maybe creating my own is the way to go? I'm not sure how close I'd have
to get them to the genuine "Mutoh" ones I'd have to get then before they
would work.

Thanks for your time. Simon
