Lettering positioning on a type path changes when I save an ai file to PDF

Hi, can anyone help me with this?.... I've typed on a path I created using the pen tool, the path and the lettering is slightly wonky (designed like this).  The artwork saves fine as an ai file, but when I create outlines  on the text or save as a PDF the path tool changes and the lettering moves to become more straight as opposed to being wonky.  What do I need to do to correct this please?

The file attached shows an example of what I mean, top wording being the original artwork, the bottom showing artwork once the type is outlines.

Thanks!

I have typed each letter seperately and expanded them individually and it has worked.  Thanks 

You may try to Object-expand it instead of creating outlines.

Thanks-I've just tried this but it still does the same thing?

You may try to change font in case it is broken.
