Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS & Illustrator? Do you see this behavior while working in a specific file? Have you tried resetting preferences as suggested by @sishamIAGD?

You may try restarting your machine & launch Adobe Illustrator only to see if your shortcuts are working. If they do, you may check if there is any other application who is creating a conflict. Hope it helps.

Thanks for jumping in to help.

I am using the AI: 25.3.1 2021 the latest update.

and Mac OSCatalina 10.15.7

Its not just a specific file, the problem appears to all existing and new artworks too.

I did restart the machine/ also tried resetting the prefrences as suggested by @sishamIAGD
