Script that joins paths within a given distance

Lets say i have alot of lines, and only want to join the real close ones.

I had something like this once. It was called connectio, or connegt.. Cant remember!

 

Anyone know about this?

Is it Hiroyuki Sato's "Join Reasonably"?  It has variables you can change.  I've not tried it myself.

As well as femkeblanco, I would recommend to take Rick Johnson's legendary Concatenate plugin.

 

It has been helping Illustrator users for centuries. Well, not quite. But it has been useful for a very long time (remember Illustrator 10 about 20 years ago?).
