Hi,

how can I add social DRM ("soft" protection which displays the name of the buyer) to an epub created in Indesign?

and how would this work on devices? what do you expect to happen?

How would the epub file know who is the buyer of the epub is?  where are you selling the epub?

Are you really think that this name can't be deleted?

You can do a trick, generate for every customer his own epub and write somewhere with 0% color his name on some page.

Remember, never say you can't do something in InDesign, it's always just a question of finding the right workaround to get the job done. © David Blatner
