Annoying turning "Beachball" while using Indesign, how to fix?

Hello, is there a solution to fix the problem why i allways get a "turning beachball" on my iMac when i use Indesign? This is very annoying and makes reacting Indesign very slow. I use the latest update of Indesign 2021 and running on a iMac 2019 (Big Sur OS 11.2.3) with 40GB RAM memory. I tried many different setting without any positive result.

Assuming you have plenty of spare disk capacity and you haven't got a third party application, such as a font manager, that may be causing an issue, I suggest you unistall InDesign using the Adobe Cleaner Tool and reinstall InDesign again.
