Hi,

Please help me, this is SO enyoing!

About 5 times a day I cannot save my Indesign document. So I end up lossing a lot of stuff that I'm working on.

I tried to restart my computer, not work on a doc more than one hour at a time etc, but this still happends. What should I do? It has happend for the latest 2 weeks.

Peg-leg solution is "save as", did you try it?

>>  What should I do?

First of all you are need to do magic passes:

  • save your indd as idml
  • open your idml and save under another name as indd
  • open your indd do something in it, is it still can't save your file again?

Remember, never say you can't do something in InDesign, it's always just a question of finding the right workaround to get the job done. © David Blatner

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

When this happends - i can't pick either "save" or "save as"

And yes, I have saved my document by exporting them to IDML, but the problem remains with the bug in Indesign. I googled and saw something about clearing my preferences in Indesign, not sure if that will work though.
