Dear all,
In my job I often create some guidelines for various companies.
My problem is, each time I create a colour palette for them, I have to write the colour codes in RGB / CMYK / # (and sometimes Pantone®)
Is there an automatic way to do that ? A script maybe, that produce text code of the colours, then I just have to copy-paste them in my document....?
Thanks in advance for a tip or the solution
Michel
Hi Michel,
there is a script by Gerald Singelmann, that would do what you want.
I assume it will not work with color groups because the last update is from 2013:
All in German:
Farbwerte exportieren | InDesign FAQ
It would write all color values of the Swatches Panel to a text file in your desktop folder.
Did not test it, though…
Regards,
Uwe

Hello Uwe,
it's nearly working... but the result is a bit messy in the text file... and it gives only CMYK...
I will search for a recent version of this script, maybe this one is a bit old ? (2013)
See attached.
