how to center a paragraph in the center of a page

I'm trying to center a paragraph in the center of a page. To be correct, each "paragraph" is one line of text in 72 point. 

I thought I could do this with the align tools, but apparently not. 

Is it possible to center the text in a page, or will I have to use guides?

1. Draw a text box.
2. Centrally align the text box vertically within the page.
3. With the text box selected, choose Text Frame Options from the Object menu.
4. Set the Vertical Justification Align option to Center.
