I made an animaton in InDesign. So when I click on a button it triggers another animation. This serves as a process explanation.
Is there a possibility to open this animation in PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat) or even export it as another format?

There is no way to export from Indesign an animation to be viewable in a PDF. You can use Publish Online for interactivity and animation. A PDF saved from the Publish Online file will not have the animation. If you need animation and PDF, you could use this workaround: use a screen capture utility to record the animation, save as video format, use Acrobat to place animated video.
