Hello,

I'm preparing the Instructions for Use in 9 languages as one document. I have 9 master pages, one for each language. On each of them I should put exactly the same footer. I was wondering if there is a way to edit the footer just once and apply it on all the masters, or i must change manually each footer on each of the 9 masterapges?

Thank you for any ideas:-)

Thank you for the answer. But I have 9 different (A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I) masterpages (A for Italian, B for English, C for Spanish... with different writings). The only common feature for all of them in a footer. How can I apply e common master to all of them? For now I was changing manually the fotter on each of these master pages. I would gladly evoid doing it everytime I must change something in the footer.

Wow, that was easy 🙂 Thank you very much for your help, I didn't know it was possible to create sub-master pages!

Thank you very much, you've saved me a lot of stupid work! 🙂

Just by curiosity! …

"9 languages as one document. I have 9 master pages" ! …

Why 9 master pages?

Why not 1 master page and 9 layers? …

Cause that would be so annoying when laying out the copy/images etc - more layers. Footers,  page numbers, headers and mastheads should always be on master page. It's good practice. (Not practise)
