typing ff not working

Hello everyone,

When I try to type any word with 'ff'  for example - efficient, the 'ff' doesn't appear. It gets typed as 'ecient'.

Any idea why this is happening? I am using font Arial - regular. All other characters are working fine.

It is certainly because the font you use does not support ligatures. Turn they off.
